Kanarvogel Wedding Logo & Branding
Getting married at the beautiful Peconic Bay Yacht Club overlooking Long Island’s Peconic River was only one reason Jackie and Ian needed a nautical flare to their wedding logo and branding. Local Long Islanders from an early age, the pair had grown up knowing and loving the island’s water. With quintessential moments within their relationship happening near the ocean, the bay, or the sound – their meet cute at the Shelter Island Ferry which served as the perfect proposal location –, it was necessary to have their marital union hosted by a water-centric location.
When creating this, Julia knew that the Kanarvogel’s logo & branding needed to blend together both nautical and luxury. Only a design of that caliber could compete with such an outstanding wedding venue. A theme that can too often go tacky, this nautical design was anything but with its regal color palette and usage of subtle maritime notes to convey its sea-bound story. The initials of the bride and groom were anchored with a knotted ampersand and grouped together by a roped circle. The use of gold, mixture of typography, and veined marble finished off this lux design.
